5 Secrets to Looking Fit in a Bikini

5 Secrets to Looking Fit in a Bikini

Freaked out about fitting in your bikini? Don’t be. Just read these amazing tips to look hotter in your swimsuit. No diet required!

1) If you know you're going to hit the beach the next day or you have a pool party planned, apply some self-tanner the night before. Focus primarily on the outer and inner sides of your thighs and your tummy area. You'll want to shower in the morning so that you're fresh, but the subtle, extra color will make you more confident.
Don’t miss Cosmo’s Practice Safe Sun campaign! From uncovering misleading tactics used by tanning salons to supporting national legislation aimed at regulating the indoor-tanning industry, we’ve got everything you need to know to stay protected from skin cancer.
2) Instead of rushing to lay down your towel on the beach, take a couple extra minutes to discreetly dig a little hole (you can use your foot) in the shape of a large bowl. Then place your towel over the area and slide your bum in that secret spot. So sneaky, but so effective!

3) Avoid the stuff that makes you puff. This includes but is not limited to caffeine, alcohol, salt, and dairy. Instead of kicking back at the pool with a soda or an ice cream cone, stay hydrated and nourished with water, fruit, and veggies.

4) One word: Sarongs. They are versatile enough to use as a cover-up for just your bottom or as a little dress for more coverage. Choose one with a sheer fabric to keep the style looking seductive, not shy.
It is your guy that needs to slim down?

5) Good posture can create the illusion that you're several pounds thinner than when you're slouching. So keep your shoulders down and think about trying to bring your shoulder blades closer together. This will automatically push your chest out and you'll feel the urge to lift your chin too.

Here's an inspiration for you girls.

ALERT: Swimsuits

It's summer!  Are your swimsuits ready? most importantly, your body?
Here are some tips in buying swimsuits and revealing skin.
 1.  Know your body type.
 2.  Know what kind of swimsuits you want (one piece or two piece)

I will help you narrow your search before heading to shopping.

One- or Two-Piece? Bikinis certainly aren't the only options out there. Cute one-pieces are making a comeback for all shapes and sizes. If you're going the two-piece route, think about what style of top — halter, tube, shoulder straps — are most comfortable to you. Also consider what activities you'll be doing in your suit. If you enjoy swimming laps and playing beach volleyball, you may want a more supportive suit than someone who enjoys lounging and wading.

Which Asset Do You Want to Accent?
Depending on your shape, you may want to play up your bust, curvy shape, legs, or even tuck it all away. Check out our shape suggestions and hunt for a one-piece or bikini that you feel most comfortable sporting poolside.

What's Your Budget?
Swimwear can get pricey, so it might be best to base your budget off the amount of wear you'll get out of your suit. If you plan live in your suit this summer and frequent the pool or beach weekly or just despise suit shopping and want this purchase to last you for a few years, you may want to invest a bit more. If you're just looking for another cute suit to add to your growing collection, we've got options on the less-expensive side as well.

Kim Kardashian on Shape Magazine

Kim Kardashian, wasn't pleased with her awesome asset?

At 10, she already got boobs.  "I remember crying in the bathtub,"she says.

So what was her solution to try and stop her cleavage from coming?

"I took a washcloth, made it hot, put it over my chest and prayed, ‘Please don't let them grow any bigger. They're embarrassing me.' I was the first girl in my class to wear a bra," Kim explained to Shape.
Luckily, her mom, Kris, helped her learn the love the body she had.
"All my friends were superskinny, and that just wasn't my body type," she tells the mag. "But I watched my mom, who was always comfortable with herself, and she helped me with my outlook."
And now we get to see Kim constantly strutting her stuff in bikini. It's a win-win situation.
However, there's still one thing she's not totally thrilled about on her body: her cellulite.
"I have cellulite, just like almost every other woman on the planet," Kim confesses. "And just because I feel secure with my body doesn't mean I think cellulite is cute! So let's just say it's a work in progress."
